Improve your smile

In a few days with the ceramic additional veneers without causing any harm to your teeth.

In Dentistry as in any other medical discipline, less invasive the treatment is, more benefits are obtained by the patient. In a treatment planning of a smile design, the goal should be to maintain and preserve the biological an anatomical heritage as much as possible. The best technique to obtain this objective is the additional ceramic veneers with no or very minimal milling of the existing enamel (tooth structure).

The additional veneers are thin translucent layer of feldspathic ceramic (from 0.3 to 0.1mm) comparable to contact lenses that are glued to your existing teeth. They may be used to correct: imperfections in color, form, shape, diastema (spaces in between the teeth), inappropriate alignment, malformed teeth (for instance conoid teeth), fractured teeth, abraded teeth by function and corroded teeth from acidic foods.

The ceramic veneers are very safe. With the modern adhesion materials the chances of detachment are close to zero and the possibility of breakage is lessened compared to regular crowns (less than 5%).

The ceramic veneers don’t cause any harm to your natural dentition (enamel) and they make the tooth 110% stronger than the natural dentition with no veneers. It is like a new enamel on top of the natural one. The feldspathic ceramic, by being an inorganic material, stains much less than the natural teeth and can’t develop any decay. Most of the time they can be made and bonded in few days (from four days to a week) and the aesthetic result is outstanding.

In our practice we consider ourselves as “smile designers”.

A common misconception among some dental professionals and patients, is that aesthetic outcomes result solely from a set of well defined rules. Limiting our job to specific guidelines and quantified measurements would lead to generic, boring, and stereotypical results in the patients. Following a strict and rigid approach breaches the perception of nature. A more comprehensive approach is advocated, instead. A point of view that requires consideration of the philosophies of beauty, art and a knowledge of perception psychology reconciled with fundamental smile design principles.

In our clinics all our personnel is trained in order to create the most pleasant and rewarding aesthetic smile experience you have ever had.
